My Story

After starting and operating two small businesses over the last 25 years with my wife Maria, a total life transition was in order. Our most recent business was killing me from the inside out. My life lacked a purpose and depth that I greatly craved. My critical and fearful self was dominant. I deeply needed a change.

Fortunately, I was actively involved with our local Men’s Group and was transitioning to become a professional coach. Working intentionally in a group setting allowed me to look at myself in new ways and to release the trauma of my past. Now, I am a professional Body Centered Coach with specific training in Somatic Experiencing for Trauma and Trauma Reconciliation through Journey Work.

My belief in this work is simple…

  • Most people navigate life from the neck up. I help others get in touch with the wisdom centers of their bodies.

  • Risking vulnerability provides the highest level of reward possible, for self and others.

  • Facing our own disconnected parts will form a new relationship with self and build greater self awareness.

  • Being conscious of our breath, movement, language, and space
    is key in establishing safety.

  • Pain and Struggle can be remarkable teachers.

  • Good Relationships are key to our fulfillment and happiness. Investing in strong, aligned relationships provides enormous dividends. ‍

My list of clients include those working on their relationships, parenting styles, divorce transitions, leadership, and Trauma Resolution.  I maintain a private practice in Sandpoint Idaho. I provide video based live sessions for most of my clients and enjoy doing in-person sessions whenever possible. I also facilitate in-person workshops for individuals and couples.

I train men’s groups, run adventure based retreats, facilitate workshops and provide private coaching services.

I am a collaborative, body focused coach. Through this approach, I provide support and specific methods to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I also integrate mindfulness methods, visual imagery, and body centered expression to offer a highly-personalized experience. With guidance and intuition, I work with you to gain greater capacity for navigating life and developing new emotionally healthy skill sets.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation for all new prospective clients.
